Football Recap: Green Valley Gators vs. Desert Oasis Diamondbacks
Green Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were dealt a 34-0 loss at the hands of the Desert Oasis Diamondbacks. While losing is never fun, the Gators can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Nevada football rankings (they are ranked 27th, while the Diamondbacks are ranked third).
Akemi Higa was her usual excellent self, throwing for 233 yards and four touchdowns while completing 86.4% of her passes, and also rushing for 37 yards for Desert Oasis.
