Basketball Recap: Bell City Takes a Loss

Bell City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They fell 50-41 to the Grand Lake Hornets. The Bruins were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hornets apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Bell City's loss dropped their record down to 15-19. As for Grand Lake, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-10 record this season.

Bell City has already played their next match (against Jennings), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Grand Lake will take on Starks at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
