Basketball Recap: St. Bernard's Central Catholic Comes Up Short

St. Bernard's Central Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 50-37 to the Blackstone-Millville Chargers. The Bernardians were down 46-22 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Blackstone-Millville had a senior duo take command as Brady Folster posted 19 points and Nick Novio scored eight points and four blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Folster has scored all season. Nathan Oliveira was another key player, putting up six points.

St. Bernard's Central Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Blackstone-Millville, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

St. Bernard's Central Catholic wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 62-48 victory against Innovation Academy on the 8th. As for Blackstone-Millville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 50-38 defeat against Hopedale on the 7th.
