Lathrop extended their road winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Ayden Petroff. The Spartans put the hurt on the Beyer Patriots with a sharp 3-0 win on Monday with plenty of help from Petroff, who had five aces and one block. She is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 17 or more in each of the last 11 games she's played.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-21, 25-17.

Lathrop's victory bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Beyer, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Lathrop will challenge rival Pacheco at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Beyer is set to square off against their familiar foe Livingston at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
