Soccer Recap: Rancho Christian Comes Up Short

Rancho Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They lost 8-0 to the Lakeside Lancers. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 1157th, while the Lancers are ranked 434th).

Rancho Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Lakeside, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-1-1 and their overall record up to 5-4-1.

Rancho Christian will face off against Perris at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lakeside, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Hillcrest at 5:00 p.m.
