Soccer Recap: Douglas Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Douglas couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Powell Panthers by a score of 4-3 on Friday. The loss continues a trend for Douglas in their meetings with Powell: they've now lost four in a row.

Douglas hit Powell with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Leah Ewing, Calie Dahl, and Macee Pyle.

Douglas' defeat dropped their record down to 13-3. As for Powell, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 13-1.

Douglas has already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Lander Valley on the 24th. Powell does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
