Recap: Hawkinsville Red Devils vs. Treutlen Vikings        
        
		
            
 The Hawkinsville Red Devils's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Tuesday after their fifth straight  defeat. They fell just short of Treutlen by a score of  60-57. Hawkinsville has not had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
 Several Red Devils players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Bryson Singletary, who  scored 26 points along with six  rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Singletary has scored all season. Another player making a difference was  Martin Mcdonald, who  scored 11 points along with seven  rebounds and three  steals.
 Hawkinsville's defeat was  their fourth straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Treutlen, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won 11 of their last 12 matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hawkinsville will take on the Bulldogs at 4:30  p.m.  on Saturday. As for Treutlen, they will stay at home for another  game and welcome the Patriots at 7:30  p.m.  on February 2nd. Wilcox County will have to bring their A-game into this one,  as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 360th, while the Vikings are ranked 170th).
