Volleyball Game Preview: Northside - Jacksonville Monarchs vs. Havelock Rams

Northside - Jacksonville is on a four-game streak of home losses, and Havelock an eight-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Thursday. The Northside - Jacksonville Monarchs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Havelock Rams at 5:30 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Northside - Jacksonville lost 3-0 to Swansboro on Tuesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-18, 25-7.

Meanwhile, Havelock came up short against Swansboro on Thursday, falling 3-0.

While Havelock was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-22, 25-18.

Havelock's loss dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Northside - Jacksonville, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-13.
