Baseball Game Preview: Bell Eagles vs. Legacy Tigers

For the second straight game, Bell will face off against Legacy. The Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Bell 2.9, Legacy 3.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Bell's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They walked away with a 3-0 victory over Legacy.

Not much got past Adolfo Esquivel, who gave up just a hit and racked up six Ks to keep Legacy off the board. Esquivel has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Luis Melendez, who went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases and one run. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March.

Legacy's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-14. As for Bell, their win bumped their record up to 17-8.
