Soccer Recap: Wright City Comes Up Short

Wright City lost against Warrenton back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Wildcats lost 7-1 to the Warriors. While losing is never fun, Wright City can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri soccer rankings (they are ranked 219th, while Warrenton are ranked 39th).

Wright City's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Warrenton, their victory bumped their record up to 8-0.

Wright City has already played their next contest (against Union), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Warrenton, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Hannibal at 6:30 p.m. on the 23rd.
