Football Recap: Kensington KENSINGTON TIGER vs. Academy at Palumbo Griffin
Kensington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 12-0 to the Academy at Palumbo Griffin. The KENSINGTON TIGER were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Griffin apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2022.
Amir Faublas was a one-man wrecking crew for Academy at Palumbo as he rushed for 97 yards and a touchdown. Faublas showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 60 yards.
Kensington's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Academy at Palumbo, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.
Kensington will welcome South Philadelphia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. South Philadelphia's defense has only allowed 14.7 points per game this season, so Kensington's offense will have their work cut out for them. Academy at Palumbo does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
