Lawrence's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ben McCaw, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Noel Saldana, who scored 12 points along with five assists and three steals.
Lawrence's win bumped their record up to 9-13. As for Marcellus, they dropped their record down to 9-11 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road.
