Basketball Game Preview: Red Rock Scorpions vs. Scottsdale Christian Academy Eagles

Red Rock hasn't had much luck against Scottsdale Christian Academy recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Scorpions just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Red Rock will be strutting in after a victory while Scottsdale Christian Academy will be coming in after a defeat.

On Thursday, Red Rock earned a 58-50 win over ALA - Anthem South. The Scorpions haven't had any issues with the Titans recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Scottsdale Christian Academy was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Wednesday as they fell 67-63 to Arizona Lutheran Academy. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Saturday (59), the Eagles still had to take the loss.

The win got Red Rock back to even at 3-3. As for Scottsdale Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.

Red Rock was dealt a bruising 83-26 defeat at the hands of Scottsdale Christian Academy when the teams last played back in February. Can the Scorpions avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
