Volleyball Recap: Franklin's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Franklin came into Saturday's matchup having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the West Bend East Suns on Saturday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Sabers also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Leading Franklin to victory were Macie Keller and Hailey Johnson. Keller had 12 assists and nine digs, while Johnson had ten digs. That's the most assists Keller has posted over her last seven matches.

Despite the loss, West Bend East still got an impressive performance from Sami Weber, who had 12 digs and three assists.

Franklin's win bumped their record up to 8-19. As for West Bend East, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-15.

Franklin didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Mukwonago on the 27th. As for West Bend East, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Hartford on the 27th.
