Baseball Recap: Taos Comes Up Short

Taos lost to Moriarty on Saturday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tigers came up short against the Pintos, falling 12-3. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Taos' defeat dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Moriarty, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Taos is set to challenge their familiar foe Los Alamos at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Moriarty will take on rival Pojoaque Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
