Troy Christian lost against Miami East on September 4th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Eagles lost 3-0 to the Vikings. The Eagles' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-7, 25-9.

Olivia Simmons paced Troy Christian's offense, picking up five kills. Simmons got some help from Taylor Bechtol and her ten assists. Simmons was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Troy Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Miami East, their win was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-2.
