The Wood Memorial Trojans extended their postseason success on Saturday against the Evansville Christian Eagles. They enjoyed a cozy 45-31 victory over the Eagles. The win was nothing new for Wood Memorial as they're now sitting on five straight.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Addie Grubb, who scored ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Hannah Higgs, who scored 11 points along with two steals.

Wood Memorial is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-10 record this season. As for Evansville Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-10.

Wood Memorial and the Cougars will face off at 1:00 p.m. on February 10th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Trinity Lutheran focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Saturday. Evansville Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
