Volleyball Recap: Chaminade Comes Up Short

Chaminade was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Fort Zumwalt South Bulldogs. If the Red Devils were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Bulldogs when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Hector Lopez Rovira paced Chaminade's offense, picking up eight kills. Lopez Rovira got some help from Alex Temporiti and his 12 assists.

Chaminade's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. Fort Zumwalt South has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Chaminade wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Troy-Buchanan on the 29th. As for Fort Zumwalt South, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Lutheran South on the 29th.
