Football Game Preview: Humboldt Vikings vs. Lake County Falcons + How To Watch

Humboldt is 1-9 against Lake County since October of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Vikings will face off against the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. Humboldt has given up an average of 40.7 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Humboldt came into this matchup off a tough 44-point defeat back in September. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Greenfield by a score of 50-48 last Friday.

Meanwhile, Lake County waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They had just enough and edged out the Red Devils 22-20.

Humboldt's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Lake County, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.

Things could have been worse for Humboldt, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 43-24 loss to Lake County in their previous meeting back in September of 2024. Can the Vikings avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
