Basketball Recap: Brooklinne Dorr's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Chattahoochee over Lanier

Chattahoochee lost against Lanier back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Chattahoochee Cougars took a 45-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lanier Longhorns. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Chattahoochee's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brooklinne Dorr, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten boards. That's the most points Dorr has posted since back in November of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Grace Harris, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten rebounds.

Chattahoochee's loss dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Lanier, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-11.

Chattahoochee will head out to face off against Johns Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Lanier does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
