Winning always takes teamwork, but on Tuesday Preston Manthei stepped things up a notch to give Lake Country Lutheran the 'W'. Manthei wasn't messing around, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. The matchup was his fourth straight with at least one stolen base.

Manthei's strong effort led Lake Country Lutheran over University School of Milwaukee and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Lightning are 8-2 against the Wildcats going back to May of 2019, a lead they'll look to extend.
