Volleyball Recap: River Ridge Knights vs. Veterans Warhawks
With a playoff win on the line, River Ridge rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Veterans Warhawks with a sharp 3-0 victory.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-11, 25-16.
Julia Richard paced River Ridge's offense, picking up 11 kills. Richard got some help from Ally Page and her 34 assists. Isabella Rigg controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.
Veterans' loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Piper Seaman, who had 11 digs and one assist, and Kaitlin Fletcher, who had six digs.
