Basketball Recap: Luke Jockel Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Clearview

Midview lost to Clearview back in December of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Middies secured a 52-46 W over the Clippers.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Midview to victory, but perhaps none more so than Luke Jockel, who posted 20 points. Another player making a difference was Xavier Young, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and ten rebounds.

The victory got Midview back to even at 1-1. As for Clearview, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Midview will face off against Normandy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Clearview, they will take on Black River at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
