Soccer Preview: Bledsoe County Takes on Ooltewah

The Bledsoe County Warriors will take on the Ooltewah Owls at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ooltewah is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.9 goals per game this season.

Bledsoe County is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to nine goals two weeks ago, they were much more limited against Sweetwater two weeks ago. They lost 4-1 to the Wildcats. While losing is never fun, Bledsoe County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 218th, while Sweetwater are ranked 72nd).

Meanwhile, Ooltewah didn't have quite enough to beat East Hamilton on Tuesday and fell 3-2.

Bledsoe County now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Ooltewah, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.
