The Grossmont Foothillers will face off against the Santana Sultans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Grossmont will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
On Friday, Grossmont blew past Valhalla, posting a 38-8 victory. Considering the Foothillers have won four matchups by more than 21 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Tyler Holmes and Corbin Dow were among the main playmakers for Grossmont as the former threw for 193 yards and three touchdowns and the latter rushed for 86 yards and a pair of TDs. 83 of Holmes' passing yards were hauled in by Randy Ballard, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.
Grossmont didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Valhalla to a completion percentage of just 40%. The team can thank Jay Smith for the heroic effort on defense: he. Grossmont wasn't nearly as limited: they posted one of 60%.
Grossmont's defense didn't let the opposing QB, get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Vinny Michelson, Ryder Robinson, and Maddox Yeargan, who each picked up one sack apiece.
Meanwhile, Santana beat El Cajon Valley 21-14 on Friday. The Sultans haven't had any issues with the Braves recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.
Santana found their leader in sophomore Julian Mayers, who rushed for 137 yards and two scores. Those 137 rushing yards set a new season-high mark for Mayers.
Santana's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Grossmont, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.
Friday's game might be decided in the trenches. Grossmont has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 151.5 rushing yards per game. It's a different story for Santana, though, as they've been averaging only 70.3 rushing yards. How will they fare against such a dominant running game?
