Volleyball Recap: Bowie Comes Up Short on the Road Against Windthorst

Bowie had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 2-0 to the Windthorst Trojans on Friday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it 12 in a row.

Bowie was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-16.

The victory made it two in a row for Windthorst and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Bowie will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Bryson at 6:00 p.m. on September 4. As for Windthorst, they will host Burkburnett at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
