Soccer Game Preview: Darlington vs. Wilson

Darlington is 1-9 against Wilson since March of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Falcons will head out on the road to challenge the Tigers at 7:30 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Darlington fell victim to Hartsville and their airtight defense last Wednesday. They lost 10-0 to the Red Foxes. Darlington have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Wilson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to Crestwood.

Darlington's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Wilson, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.

Darlington took their win against Wilson when the teams last played on April 1st by a conclusive 7-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Falcons since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
