Midland Christian had a senior duo take command as Price Bryant rushed for 149 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries and Avery Morgan threw for 127 yards and two touchdowns. Those 149 rushing yards set a new season-high mark for Bryant. Case Cole got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Grace Community's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-4. As for Midland Christian, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-5.
Grace Community does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Midland Christian, they will stay at home for another week and welcome Regents at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Regents will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Midland Christian surely won't give up without a fight.
