Barringer is headed out in good spirits considering the team just ended their winless streak on the road against Verona on Thursday. Barringer secured a 42-36 W over Verona. That looming 42-36 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Blue Bears yet this season.

Meanwhile, Tech was just a bucket shy of victory on Thursday and fell 52-51 to Weequahic.

Tech dropped their record down to 3-8 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.7 points per game. As for Barringer, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 3-8 record.
