Softball Game Preview: Enterprise Wildcats vs. Opp Bobcats

A feisty cat fight will be fought as Enterprise Wildcats face off against Opp Bobcats at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (Enterprise 2.5, Opp 2.5) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Enterprise will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any runs on Friday, then bounced right back against Bloomingdale on Friday. Enterprise put the hurt on Bloomingdale with a sharp 10-2 win. Considering the Wildcats have won four contests by more than seven runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Opp owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-0 victory over Tate. The win continues a trend for the Bobcats in their matchups with the Aggies: they've now won three in a row.

Opp saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Autumn Green, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Opp's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Enterprise, their win bumped their record up to 9-2.
