With a playoff win on the line, Nanih Waiya rose to the challenge on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over the East Marion Eagles. Considering the Warriors have won 15 matches by more than seven runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The win was the fifth in a row for Nanih Waiya, bringing their record up to 18-11. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for East Marion, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-12.

Nanih Waiya will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Eagles: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
