Football Game Preview: San Gorgonio Spartans vs. Montclair Cavaliers

The San Gorgonio Spartans will challenge the Montclair Cavaliers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with six consecutive losses dating back to last season for San Gorgonio and three for Montclair.

San Gorgonio is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They fell 34-28 to Cathedral City on Friday.

Meanwhile, Montclair played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 39-13 to Canyon Springs. The Cavaliers were down 33-7 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

San Gorgonio's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Montclair, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Everything came up roses for San Gorgonio against Montclair in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 40-0 victory. Do the Spartans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cavaliers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
