Goldwater is 6-0 against Coronado since December of 2014 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Goldwater Bulldogs will take on the Coronado Dons in a holiday battle at at 5:30 p.m. Goldwater is looking for their season's first win.

Goldwater is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They fell 52-39 to Tempe on Monday.

Meanwhile, Coronado came up short against Yuma on Friday, falling 65-43. The Dons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Goldwater's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Coronado, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Goldwater was able to grind out a solid victory over Coronado in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, winning 40-28. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Coronado's Ariel Douglas, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 22 boards. Now that she won't be playing on Monday, will it be easier for Goldwater to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
