Volleyball Game Preview: Carbon Dinos vs. Juab Wasps

The Carbon Dinos will take on the Juab Wasps at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Monday, Carbon came up short against American Heritage and fell 3-1. The loss continues a trend for the Dinos in their meetings with the Patriots: they've now lost three in a row.

Carbon was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made American Heritage work for it, especially in the third set. The final score came out to 25-21, 23-25, 26-24, 25-14.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Juab's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell 3-1 to North Sanpete.

While Juab ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-20, 22-25, 25-21.

Carbon's defeat dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Juab, their loss dropped their record down to 10-5.

Carbon took their win against Juab in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Dinos repeat their success, or do the Wasps have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
