Basketball Recap: Schaeffer Academy Lions vs. Twin Cities Academy/Great River
The Schaeffer Academy Lions scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They breezed by Twin Cities Academy/Great River on the road to the tune of 63-23. That looming 63-23 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Schaeffer Academy yet this season.
Schaeffer Academy found their leader in underclassman Lillian Morrisey, who scored 20 points along with eight rebounds and three blocks. Another player making a difference was Linnea Ekbom, who scored eight points along with 11 rebounds and three steals.
Schaeffer Academy's victory bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Twin Cities Academy/Great River, their loss dropped their record down to 9-8.
