Softball Recap: Peoria Drops Highest Score of Season Against Yuma

Peoria was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 30th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 12-9 to the Yuma Criminals. One positive for the Panthers, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Peoria's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Yuma, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Peoria will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Paradise Honors at 6:00 p.m. on March 21st. As for Yuma, they will be playing in front of their home fans against San Luis at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Yuma is facing San Luis at the right time seeing as San Luis is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
