Softball Recap: Mountain View Comes Up Short

Mountain View lost against Flippin back in April of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Mountain View Yellowjackets came up short against the Flippin Bobcats, falling 18-3. The Yellowjackets' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Mountain View's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Flippin, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season.

Mountain View will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Melbourne at 4:00 p.m. on March 31st. As for Flippin, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Flippin Bobcats take on Green Forest Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The timing isn't great for Green Forest: they have been struggling with four straight losses at home, while Flippin has snatched up four consecutive wins on the road.
