Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Antelope). They put the hurt on the Cordova Lancers with a sharp 4-1 victory on Thursday. Given the Titans' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 260th, while the Lancers are ranked 890th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Antelope hit Cordova with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Nick Gutierrez, Nery Sanchez, Darrey Latifov, and Eric Appiah.

Antelope's win bumped their record up to 6-4-2. As for Cordova, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Antelope will host McClatchy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cordova has already played their next game (against West Park), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
