Soccer Recap: Dunedin Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Dunedin can now relate to. They came up short against the Calvary Christian Warriors on Tuesday, falling 8-0. Having soared to a lofty eight goals in the game before, the Falcons' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Dunedin's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Calvary Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Dunedin will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Montverde Academy at 7:00 p.m. on February 11th. As for Calvary Christian, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Academy of the Holy Names on the 30th.
