Soccer Recap: Lititz Christian Takes a Loss

Lititz Christian lost against New Covenant Christian on September 4th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Eagles came up short against the Flames, falling 9-2. Lititz Christian were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-1.

Eli Antes and Jackson Antes scored both of Lititz Christian's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 13 goals.

This is the second loss in a row for Lititz Christian and nudges their season record down to 3-7. As for New Covenant Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3-1 record this season.

As for New Covenant Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against Lancaster County Christian on the 26th.
