Cole Woodland of Jefferson ran for the longest rushing play in Southern 5B this season against Joliet last week. Woodland's team bested the J Hawks as he sprinted for 68 yards on the play and finished with 95 in all.
Broadwater was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after defeating Florence-Carlton. The Bulldogs came in at 23 in the state poll after placing at number 35 last week.
