Basketball Game Preview: Mayfield Wildcats vs. Twinsburg Tigers

The Mayfield Wildcats and the Twinsburg Tigers will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Mayfield has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 198 points over their last three games.

On Friday, Mayfield beat Chardon 74-67. That's two games straight that the Wildcats have won by exactly seven points.

Meanwhile, Twinsburg unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 55-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of North Royalton. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 287th, while the Bears are ranked 51st).

Mayfield's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-8. As for Twinsburg, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
