Volleyball Recap: Fort Chiswell Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Fort Chiswell was the 3-0 winner over Galax when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Pioneers fell just short of the Maroon Tide by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday.

Fort Chiswell has also been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season. As for Galax, they moved to 3-7 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Fort Chiswell will square off against rival Auburn at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Galax is set to challenge their familiar foe Grayson County at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
