Volleyball Game Preview: Edgewater Eagles vs. Olympia Titans

The Edgewater Eagles will head out on the road to square off against the Olympia Titans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Edgewater has now lost seven straight dating back to last season, leaving the team hunting for their first win since April 16.

Edgewater came up short against Windermere on Monday, falling 3-0.

While Edgewater was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Windermere's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-13, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Olympia didn't have quite enough to beat Lake Buena Vista on Thursday and fell 3-2. While the Titans didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Vipers 25-13 in the first set.

Olympia actually scored more points across those five sets (102-100), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 13-25, 25-23, 22-25, 25-18, 15-11.

Edgewater's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Olympia, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.

Edgewater couldn't quite get it done against Olympia in their previous meeting back in April of 2025 as they fell 2-0. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
