They narrowly escaped with a  win as the  squad sidled past the Capital Cougars  1-0. The score was all tied up  0-0 at the break, but the Timberwolves   were the  better team in the second half.

 Regen Perry, which was the first he's scored this season.
 Spring Valley's victory  ended  a  four-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 3-7-2. As for Capital,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 5-10-1.
 Spring Valley didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next  match,  a  6-0  win against Riverside on the 3rd. Capital has also  already played their next contest,  a  4-0  victory against St. Albans on the 3rd.
