Two Eagle River suffers ninth straight loss on the road

Recap: Two Eagle River Eagles vs. Hot Springs Savage Heat

The Two Eagle River Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fifth straight loss. They took a 59-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hot Springs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Two Eagle River of the 62-36 loss they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2023.

Despite the defeat, Two Eagle River saw an underclassman step up: Keke Tenas scored 16 points along with five rebounds and three steals.

Two Eagle River's loss was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Hot Springs, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-5.

Two Eagle River will be playing at home against the Savage Heat at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Montana (Hot Springs is ranked 141st, while the Eagles are ranked 157th). As for Hot Springs, they will head out on the road to face off against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Two Eagle River focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 29 on Tuesday.
