Recap: Faith Baptist vs. Bethany Christian
Make it six blowout wins for Faith Baptist this season. They put the hurt on Bethany Christian with a sharp 51-28 victory on Friday. The victory was just business as usual for Faith Baptist, who after seven games remain undefeated this season.
Faith Baptist was led to victory by Bailey Burton and Amy Ahrens. Burton scored 15 points along with two steals, while Ahrens almost dropped a triple-double on 13 points, ten rebounds, and nine steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Burton has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Olivia Adams, who scored six points.
Faith Baptist pushed their record up to 7-0 with that victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Bethany Christian, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-4.
Faith Baptist will head out on the road to challenge Faith Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Faith Christian is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Bethany Christian, they will be playing at home against Rochester Hills Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
