Model typically has all the answers at home, but on Monday Armuchee proved too difficult a challenge. They had just enough and edged out the Blue Devils 3-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Indians.

Armuchee took Model into a fifth set where they got it done with an 11-point win. The final set scores came out to 25-22, 25-17, 22-25, 20-25, 15-4.

Armuchee got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ella Dehart out in front who had 27 kills and 22 digs. Another player making a difference was Charley Ray, who had 28 digs, 12 kills, and two aces.

Armuchee has now won three of their last four games on the road. That lines up perfectly with their 30-10 record this season. As for Model, they are now 25-14, having gone 1-2 since their four-game winning streak ended.

Coming up, Armuchee will venture away from home to take on Mount Paran Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Model does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
