Basketball Recap: Brick Memorial Takes a Loss

Brick Memorial lost against Brick Township back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Brick Memorial Mustangs came up short against the Brick Township Green Dragons, falling 51-25. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 359th, while the Green Dragons are ranked 118th).

Brick Memorial's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Brick Township, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Brick Memorial has already played their next contest (against Point Pleasant Boro), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Brick Township also has no score uploaded for their next match, this one against Toms River South.
