Volleyball Recap: Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy was the 3-0 winner over Nelson County when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Ospreys fell 3-1 to the Governors on Tuesday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-20, 19-25, 25-15.

Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy's loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Nelson County, their win ended an 11-match drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-13.

Coincidentally, Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy and Nelson County will both be playing Dan River the next time they take the court. The Governors will host the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Ospreys will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
